Locate a village near spawn. Plains and desert villages are most common.

Check blacksmith, weaponsmith, and cartographer chests for iron, obsidian, and diamonds.

Break hay bales for wheat, craft into bread for food supply.

Collect beds

Take beds from village houses for the dragon fight and fortress clearing.

Use iron for a bucket, create a lava cast portal or use obsidian from chests.
