Use a naturally generated ruined portal to enter the Nether quickly, saving time on mining obsidian or building a portal from scratch. Ruined portals spawn with partial obsidian frames and often contain loot chests with useful items like iron, gold, and flint and steel.

Use a village to gather resources and enter the Nether. Villages provide hay bales for food, blacksmith loot for iron/obsidian, and beds. The most beginner-friendly nether entry strategy.

Navigate to a bastion remnant in the Nether to trade gold with piglins for ender pearls. Bastions contain gold blocks, chest loot, and piglin mobs that can barter ender pearls, obsidian, iron, and other useful items.

Navigate in the Nether to position yourself near a stronghold in the Overworld without using eyes of ender. By traveling to specific nether coordinates, you exit the nether close to a stronghold ring, saving time on overworld travel.

Locate buried treasure chests without using explorer maps by reading chunk coordinates from the F3 screen. Buried treasure always generates at chunk coordinate 9, ~, 9, making it predictable once you know the chunk.
